When i was filling the rad up, I suddenly found a large leak. It turned out that there is a water jacket plug in the AFR's and Terry had not realized it and thus I needed to plug it.

It was a REAL PITA - thanks Ted - but finally managed to get a plug in.

Keep filling and then MORE water. Plug missing from the front of the drivers side heads. NP. Fairly easy to get too.

Keep filling........you guessed it.............leak from the passenger side head BUT I have to take off the accessory bracket to reach it. F**K

too tired for today. i removed the alternator. I can see two bolts that hold the bracket on.

Am I going to able to move the bracket without having to remove the power steering pump and compresser?

anyone know.

Just those two bolts enough?

Shaun I would get some one to help and locat the hole behind the bracket. you MAY be able to drill the bracket to give you access to the hole. I would drill with say 5/8s(16mm) bit

Good luck man!

I agree with Ellis, you will be best off drilling a hole through the bracket, you will have to remove the power steering etc to get the bracket forward :)

In all honesty it aint that hard to remove the bracket. I honestly think it would be more of a pita to sit there and attempt tp drill out the location.

Also shawn i believe there is a total of 4 bolts holding the bracket on. So dont go prying on her after 2 :p
