Many of you are no doubtedly going to wonder where the thread for the Z06 style badges went.

It got deleted because some people insist on pushing our policies to the limit and don't take our stance on certain issues seriously.

The Z06 badge issue is a touchy one because people want to get them made, but some think that wanting them bad enough is justification to go against the board policies that were set in place to protect this site from not being a free resource to enthusiasts.

Well, I am here to tell you that it will not happen here that way. We have a Group Purchase section on this site for paying advertisers of this site. If someone can find a company to make them, great. Go nuts with it. However, of any from of GP is to be set up here, it has to be in the GP section and it has to be set up by a paying advertiser. That is how it has been and that is how it has to be.

If you have a problem with this, ask yourself how much you paid to read this message. Zero. Nothing. You know why? Because this site is supported by advertisers. This site costs more monthly than my house payment to run (almost twice as much), and probably more than some of you make in a month. Without advertisers, that hosting bill doesn't get paid and this site either disappears or ceases to be free for people to use.

I agree with you on this Jason.

It is disrepectful to talk back to the site administrator about YOUR policies. They are YOUR policies and if someone interpretted it wrong so be it and that is why you warned them but they continued to defy you. Not right. We are coming to YOUR board so we need to abide by YOUR rules. It is that simple.

If you look hard enough, I bet you know someone that works at a tool and die shop and could make those pieces for you for under $100 anyway.

 

Too add to this, I didn't mean to imply someone was trying to pull a fast one, I removed my statement that may have come across like that. Sorry.

No, the store is down. I am sorry guys but that issue is entirely out of our control. When this changes, you can be sure that I will let you all know.
