As far as I know you can. I know in Tribes 2 you could set up a private internet server. The only thing with that is then you have to deal with lag. If we all had broadband it shouldnt be too bad though. I'll look into MOH:AA when I get home. It would be cool to all hook up for a few hours every once in a while and kick eachothers asses. We would really have to learn how to use the chat options in the game since we cant just yell at eachother anymore!

The MOH:AA does have an option for an internet game. I tried it on the gamespy network but kept getting server timed out messages. I don't know if it was because of my router or if there wasn't anybody playing at the time.

This would be awesome.

I am working on upgrading parts of the computer now, a larger harddrive, more RAM and a MUCH better video card should make the game go much faster.

Working on doing that myself. Sucks being unemployed

I ran a benchmark on my system and I am surprised it even ran the games at the party LOL

I did get into the bios and tweak a few things and got a little more speed out of the video, but nothing huge.

Current shopping list includes new mobo, more ram, bigger and faster HD, and a killer vid card.

I don't know if my DSL connection would be fast enough for a 'net game, but I'd sur like to try. We used to have a blast playing dark reign over my cable connection. we were able to just play one on one, though I don't remember how...

OK, it looks like we can either use GameSpy, or one of us serves and hands out our IP address to everyone else. The second choice would probably be better.

Chad, I have a vid card for sale if you are interested. GeForce II Ti 128MB DDR for $50.

I messed with gamespy today, and it will work if you get the patch update for it. BUT if you get the patch it will remove the no CD update we put in. So your screwed. We will have to do the IP address route to make it work. I was playing today BTW.....with 25 guys in one game. As soon as you spawned you were firing....WAY CRAZY!!!

Thanks Chris, but I already have a GeForce II card that only has 32MB. So I am looking to upgrade into the ATI Raedon 9700 Pro, that way when I decide to upgrade the motherboard and processor I will have a video card that won't need to be upgraded.

Does anybody have any PC800 RDRAM laying around? I am looking for a pair of 512MB sticks.

Wow, that's expensive RAM! I looked on Pricewatch and it's sitting at around $131 per stick. You can get DDR400 RAM at 512MB for $77...

I know, but that is what my motherboard takes. I really don't want to upgrade the motherboard and processor right now since it is a P4 1.4Ghz.

for the price of 2 sticks of that ram, you could get a new MOBO, an Athlon 2000+ CPU and 1 gig of DDR400 ram...or at least within a few bucks of the same price... And you'd have a much faster system all around.
