I was wondering what brand car cover is the best as far as not leaving any scratches (if there is one) and also if a Hood Bra is a good or bad idea with a BRAND NEW "Kandy" Paint Job?
My car is getting painted "Kandy" Orange, and I would like to get a bra for it right away. But if it leaves marks, or messes up the paint, I don't want to go that way. I was hoping for someone's opinions who has some experince with them.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks

I've had a bra on one of my cars, and a couple buddies of mine have used them also-and I think any bra is going to make the paint fade or harm it in some way. Only thing that looks like it might work to me is this (but I don't know if anyone has used it or how it looks in person or if it even helps at all)

My mom has a 97 firebird and whenever we wax it (about 3 times a year) we just take the bra off and do the whole car and when your done you cant tell any difference between where the bra was and wasnt. So I dont think it will harm the paint.

i think the cover could scratch the paint, if the car is even slightly dirty watch out.

The best cover is the covercraft front end mask. It works real well and after a year i have had no problems. The only thing is that you have to take it off every now and again and wash and wax underneth it. Also the cover for firebirds and formulas is a lot more forgiving because it tucks under the hood and does not allow any room for rocks or dirt to get underneth it from the top, unlike the covers for t/a s and camaros.
