I'm not really sure which are the best, but my brother just installed BMR subframes this weekend (weld-on) and they made a huge difference. We did a before and after test and I was impressed, I think I might be getting a pair now for my car. He got his from here;

As far as I know, they won't prevent any other mods to your car.

Forget SLP's for $200, get BMR's boxed ones for $160.

Speed Inc. is having a GP on BMR SFC.
I just bought the boxed kind and I am waiting to install them.

Nothing wrong with bolt-in SFC's. I've got them on my car and they don't loose up at all, even with several passes down the track, including 14 runs in one night.

I got mine from Spectacle Solutions (www.SpectacleSolutions.com) They are double diamond and powdercoated.

I got the BMR tubular sfc for $130. Pretty good if you ask me.

i forgot they make single bar SFC's.
when i asked if weld on SFC's would negate any future mods i meant the diamond SFC's.

so with that in mind do the diamonds, weld on, negate any future mods?

I'd stay away from the boxed if you ever plan to lower your car, they reduce your ground clearence a bit.

I have Kenny Brown Double Diamonds on the TA and the SS. They are the best SFC there is IMO. I also think that they are well worth the price as far as build quality and fit and the design is killer.

What kind of test? What measurable and quantifiable data did you compare? You were impressed ... what other vehicles have you driven to compare this to?

I have boxed BMR subs and have no issues with ground clearance.

I had BMR boxed SFCs on my 94Z. When I sold it and bought my 98 Bird, I bought the same exact SFCs from BMR and had them welded on.

There's a reason for that. Go with BMR, you won't be disappointed:)

I'm thinking about getty kenny brown DDs, but some have said that they'll interfere with my SLP LTs and SLP Y-pipe, does anyone have this setup, or knows a way to accomodate the KBDD? thanks! ;)

SFCs won't block ony future mods unless they are Double diamond style......But the ones I went with are global west SFCs.....They are very strong, tuck under great, and are $190.....I recommend getting those

KBDD are probably the best, but are overkill.

And yes they probably will interfere with your SLP LTs.....Like I said in the above post, go with the GW SFCs, they will be better for you
