Finally got to drive the SS454 today

:eek: Wow, talk about torque! It's actually a very smooth running engine and it gets up and moves. But I think it needs more of a lopey idle to it so I may need to do a cam swap. It's nice to drive a V8 again though.

Those are real sweet trucks..they should come out with something similar to that now.

now that you have a tbi system i can help you with some mods. you beeter watch out for the other 454ss aroudn ewing though, we put an edelbrock intake, high flow cat, cat back, and true custom chip in it. :)

My 91 already has the intake, true dual exhausts with Flowmasters(3 chamber) and an ADS superchip in it. And it's a Gen V crate motor which is rated slightly higher than the stock motor was. These trucks have tons of potential.
