Konig Monsoon owners, stripped my key

Anyone done this before? Being careful not to get the tire iron too deep and scratch the wheels, I guess I didnt insert the key 100% and when I turned it hard (the lug was already snugged) the inside of the key stripped bad enough to make it useless. I use a long 12mm shaft to do the non-keyed nuts so those arent a concern. How can I get a replacement key?

Go to a local tire store that carries konig and they can order you one.

You'll probably have to buy a new set of 4 lugnuts with a key. From Gorrilla or Coyote (I think that's it).

I know what you mean about the shoulder of the key hitting the outer edge of the lugnut hole and scratching it. I ground that part down on my bench grinder. Tapered it, so it would not contact anymore.

Guess I should get a new one and do that. Had to do it to a spark plug socket to get the #8 plug in/out safely...
