Attn: Guys who converted TPI to carb. How did you do the throttle linkage?DarthIROC 02-12-2003, 12:03 AM I havent really failed at this yet I havent tried but I thought I would ask first to make it easier. I got my engine set back in on the mounts yesterday and I got my intake and Edelbrock carb bolted on but I wanted to know how I should go about doing the throttle linkage and kickdown linkage for the 700 R4. Can I just get a braket from Advance auto that will bolt to my intake and will it still reach the same? Ray86IROC 02-12-2003, 01:02 AM Hmm, with the edelbrock carb I'm not sure. With my holley Jegs had a bracket that worked with the throttle cable and with the kickdown cable perfectly. $15 or so, easy as pie to throw on, all worked great.
