17x11 zr1s

well i know that spacers are needed to put zr1s on my 87 iroc but i need to know if the 17x11s with the 50mm+ offset will fit on the back

thanks Yes. You need to run the 50mm offset for 11"s. You need either a 4th Gen rear or 2" spacers in the rear to run these.

I have 17x11" ZR1s with 50mm offset, and I have a 4th Gen rear. No problems.

So... do you need to get the offset and the spacers / 4th gen rear or is it either or?

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures, and my car's in storage so I can't easily get any either.

Either get a 4th Gen rear or retain your stock 3rd Gen rear and get 2" spacers/adapters.

2 inch spacers and the 50mm offset. Or is just the offset enough?

with the 2" spacer will there be any rubbing with the 17x11 in the rear

If you have a 4th Gen rear you only need the 50mm offset.

badassbowtie400: The only rubbing that will occur is when the car is in the air (on jackstands or something) and the rear is completely depressed. The bump stop will lightly rub on the tire, but that isn't an issue when the car is on the ground. It rubs on 4th Gens that way too...not a big deal.

BUT...when the car is on the ground and driving around, there aren't any problems. You may have to roll your fender lips, depending on your situation. The fender might dig into the tire under a lot of suspension load (just like with a 4th Gen). But it doesn't always happen.

eric is right, you shouldn't have any problems.

i have a +58 offset with my 10.5's and plenty of room without rolling the fender and that's with a thirden proportion rear.

alot of money for the rims, tires, and adapters.....definately worth it though. :)
