Best way to add a sub to Monsoon system?

In my 1997 Z28 I spliced into the speakers of the stock stereo system and hooked up a connector I got from Best Buy to transform that signal into RCA's. Then RCA cables went to the amp, and amp went to the sub. When I put in an aftermarket head unit I realized how crappy my sub sounded before with the spliced speaker wires for a signal.

So now I have a 2001 SS with Monsoon and I want to leave the head unit alone, but I want to add a stealth box. What's the best way to do this for a CLEAR sounding signal to the sub?

Any ideas? Thanks guys.

Do NOT tap any of the wires going to the speakers AFTER the Monsoon amp. Due to differing impedences and ohms, if you must tap wires, tap them DIRECTLY behind the HU. Or, for a plug-n-play solution, get a PAC OEM-1.
