I'm sure the shield is better, but they both should be legal to 9.99, right? I've been looking at the CSI shield and RCI's blanket? Any comments or preferences about either one?

Shield or blanket?mongse_1 02-07-2003, 07:27 PM I'm sure the shield is better, but they both should be legal to 9.99, right? I've been looking at the CSI shield and RCI's blanket? Rich Krause mod313 02-08-2003, 09:10 AM The blanket is easier to fit of course but will absorb any fluid that leaks from trans. The shield of course won't absorb fluids but can be a bit harder to fit up with deep pans. CSI also makes a very slick plastic type shield that includes the flex plate shield. Costs more but it fits right on top of the case and follows the contours it. Better fit for vehicles with stock floors. mongse_1 02-09-2003, 05:23 PM I checked into CSI's one-piece shield. That might work the best since the transmission will be bolted to the motor outside of the car. | ||
