What is the difference between the 1LE and BMR lca`s and panhard bar? Does the 1LE have hardened bushings in them?

1LE LCA's have a solid rubber bushing while BMR has poly.
Stock ones have a rubber bushing, but it's not a circle and has voids in it--lots of slop.

and realize taht the 1le has those harder bushings in the normal stock stamped steel, u-shaped piece that has a tendency to flex.
the BMR units are made of thick, tubular (or boxed in some cases) steel which is much stronger and torsionally stiffer

Torsional stiffness in an LCA isn't really what you want though, unless you want suspension bind. Longitudinal stiffness is really the only criteria for an LCA. You want some twisting flex though.

Having said that, I do have BMR tubulars on my car but with the rubber/poly busing combo. Sometimes I wonder if there's any merit in any aftermarket LCA's short of the spherical rod end kind.

The reason I asked about this is because a friend is giving me the 1LE`s free and I wasn`t for sure if it would be worth me spending the money on the BMR`s.

If you are a corner carver type then I would say no, but if you are a drag racing nut, it could help.
