Hello all,
I am looking to get a set of wheels (cheap) for autoX. I have to go with 17" because of the brakes. I am looking to get a set of steel wheels like those manufactured by Bart Wheels, etc. But it seem like nobody makes 17" steel wheels. Is there a particular reason for this? I am looking to get 17X10 all around..
Thanks..

why 17x10? if you are autoXIng, you want at least 17x11 all the way around.
with 315s, of course of course.

Hey Jordon,
Did I say 17X10? I am terrible. :-)
Yes, definitely want 17X11s..
I already have GrandSport 17X11's with 315s on the back of the car. But I need some light weight and cheap steel rims. Do you know where I can get them from? I don't mind going with 15" or 16" wheels but I am afraid planned front brakes (Corvette) will not fit..

Definately stick with 17"s if you are going to use big brakes.
How did you get your car down to 3200 pounds? I know someone weighing even less, but its not easy.
Yes, definitely 17"s but where do you find them from? I rather not spend $400-$500 for a light weight forged wheel just to bang them up on an autoX course. All the steel racing wheels are in 15" diameter with very few 16"..
Car is 3200 lbs without me! less than 1/2 tank of fuel and almost no interior, no airbags, no A/C, no radio/speakers, no t-tops, no spare or jack, nothing power etc, etc..
