Well, the parts are in and the block work is done, assembly is in the process. 355cid w/ forged JE pistons, Eagle 6" H beams, stock crank (for now), PP Stage II heads, XE 230 / 242 113lsa, 30# SVO's, Strange 12 bolt, skinnies and fats with a GM rebuilt 4L60E  (Running out of $$$$) Anyway..... just wondering how brave I should go with a N2O setup?? I'm thinking NA I should be somewhere around 425hp. A N2O setup is new to me and of course I will have all the safety items in place. I've picked out a kit w/ some extra goodies for around 1200, just wanna know how big of a shot I could work my way up too. Any other advise is appreciated.

I don't know if you're going to see 425 at the wheels. What compression are you running?
As long as you have all the goodies to include fuel pump you shouldn't have a problem running upwards of a 200 shot. Since you have forged pistons and H-beams, you shouldn't be too worried and the stock crank is pretty damn tough.
Just make sure all your ducks are in a row as far as timing, race gas for a bigger shot, fuel pump and the safety goodies.
Work your way up and keep an eye on your setup.

Guys are spraying upwards of a 300 shot with a stock crank.
With the parts you have 200 would be good, but the trans wont last. Start off with a 100 and go from there, make sure you have a BIG trans cooler, that will help the trans some.......

yea, the stock crank is pretty strong, as has already been stated. the tranny will be your main problem. to be completely honest, if its a "mostly stock" rebuild, i wouldnt be suprised if it doesnt hold your NA power too long, much less the gas.
if your a betting man (and you have somthing else to drive), id get it really broken in well NA, and then start out with a 100shot.
you really need a race-prepped 60E or a built R4/350/400 to harness all that power.
good luck!
