Would anyone buy a 00' camaro SS carbon fiber hood/wing? I might be 'coming' across one on account of chance I think. Just curious to see if anyone would.

 

As much as those cost I doubt it unless your getting it super cheap

nono! I wouldn't be buying one. I know a person who runs some performance shop in my area. He approached me asking me if he could use my hood/wing for the mold. I said "whats in it for me?" he said he'd give me a FREE hood/wing, so I said hmmm, ok! I would be doing this, but my dad says my thigs might get messed up, so I told him to include money for damages (if there were any, dont know how good he is). So I would be selling the hood/wing and be using the money towards a body kit. How much would you guys pay for it? I know the regular SS Hood is about $600 and the wing like $200.

 

Depends, if the quality sucks, then you couldn't pay me to take it off your hands.

 

I would say no. The whole unpainted carbon fibre hood fad doesn't do it for me.

Unpainted cf hoods are bad enough without having a wing to go with it. I vote no.
