Why is everyone always picking on me?

Do all of you guys get mocks and smart *** comments from people that underestimate the potential of the v6 F-bodies, i hate that, everyone always laughs and says its a V6, and why would you mod it, i dont know about you guys but i like beating Rustangs and when they ask what u got u tell them that your 3.8L just killed their 5.Slow :p or i have raced a 305 87 camaro and beat it they asked what i have i told them and their jaw dropped ;) . but why must we put up with these peoples comments that underestimate our engines?

Please keep unrelated questions in the lounge, this is a tech area :p :p

I don't mind being made fun off.....its the track that has the last laugh...

dude, if its people who dont own fbodies and drive other car like hondas and say its a v6 then just tell em to **** off just because they cant have it why mock someone (or race em haha that will shut em up if u win)

mod your car so it looks/sounds v8, 99% of people wont be able to tell you have a v6 then, just dont race it at lights.. act like u obey the speed limit (ha ha)


if v8 owners make fun, tell em to go pick on someone their own size.. ha ha (thas what i do)


we as v6 owners can go pick on all the 4 cylinder cars out there

Nice advice...a V8 can't pick on a V6, but we V6ers can pick on a four banger.

Yea its pretty pathetic. I had that happen to me a lot with my V6. Now I get a lot of respect in the SS. The only thing I don't appreciate is the people with automatic corllas, civics, etc. telling me I should have gotten a stick, they don't even have a stick so shut the f.... I say ignore them, thats there problem.

I can kinda feel your pain. I get a lot of crap from little punk high school kids driving fart can cars. I just look at them anymore and shake my head. I guess I'm growing out of the whole racing scene................what am I saying??!!!! NO I'M NOT!!! I blow their freakin doors off. Now, that's satisfaction! But like you said, when big brother comes around...V-8's....I drive very very slow. hehe. Occasionally, I like to get my own doors blown off to remind me of what I actually have under the hood.

Like I said the only replacement for displacement is a turbo...LMAO!!!!
