Just wondering for those of you who drive your LT1 during winter, in snow, which tires seems to be the best.

I realize that none of them will be great, but I have Yokohama mama's on mine cuz I was told they were the best you were going to get in snow. They seem worse that the performance Goodyears I had on before them.

I like my Yokas...no problems from them under any circumstances; aside from performance, but they are street tires, what'd I expect!

Mine handled our recent snow/ice fairly well, and I never encounter problems in the rain.

What pressure do you keep your tires at? Does it help at all to have them a little lower on the snow?

Bridgstone Blizzack WS-50's, I love them although they do not last that long. I have two seasons on them and they are almost shot. I reccomend them none the less, great winter and deep(that is right I said deep)snow traction.

I keep mine at recommended pressure (not sure what that is)...the main thing that helps me in the snow is gearing up. I drive at 1800-2400 RPMs in snowy or icy conditions.

I would say BFGoodrich G-Force T/A KDWS. They were good in the very light snow I drove in. They were absolutely awesome in rain! I have used F1's, hp's, and those. All z-rated. My favorites were the bfgoodrich's. They last the longest and are the best overall tire for traction and driving in bad conditions. Just my $.02 Thanks, Michael

i have yoka's too and they are good tires (i think?) lol... people ALWAYS ask me, when they see my car..."Hey, so hows that thing handle the snow?" my response... "It doesn't"... but hey! its fun... almost taken a few mailboxs as casualties tho... that a federal offense?
