The CTS really needs more power. It's a pity that they didn't make a real effort to put the LS-1 in the Cadillac Catera - there was a car that had an excellent chassis and no engine.

CTS has more power than BMW 325Ci. CTS has comparable power to BMW 330Ci.

When CTS-V is released, it will have more power than BMW M3.

I don't think things are all that bad. CTS is GM's best new car since the 1997 C5, IMHO.

To me a car that put's "Cool" & "Cadillac" in the same sentence. Funny thing is, they look far better on the street around other cars than in photos or a showroom on it's own IMHO.

I got an unsolicited statement from my wife the other day..... She piped up and said "I saw this car today, 4 doors, real edgy styling, looked really neat, it was really cool looking cause it doesn't look like anything else on the road." I told her it could have been a CTS. Later I confirmed it was a CTS while pointing one out to her on the road. This is really a step out for her, since she's only driven Mustangs and Camaro's and now a truck. This is not the comment I would expect from her or the type of vehicle she would be interested in. CTSv sounds like it would be a good match for us if they keep it somewhat affordable.
