Question Air Shocks

How hard is it to put air shocks on a Camaro? I want to have my Camaro lowered, but I live in an area where the roads are less than perfect and I don't want to bottom out. I figured if I put air shocks on it, i could have it up around here and when I get on the highways I could lower it. Does this sound like a good idea?

Get some coil-overs, you let all the air outta a shock and you bounce all over the highway, it would be like just driving on blown shocks.

Paul post up the place you got yours I don't remember

EDIT: found a site http://www.ground-control.com/

Would the coil-overs let me adjust the height easily?

Yeah they will, all that is needed to drop them is a few turns of the adjuster tool to the threaded sleeve on the shock to adjust the height. Just remember though, any time you adjust the height you need to get it aligned, because it throws the camber off. Thats why you see every slammed ricer with front wheels that point towards each other.

"Easily" once you have the car on jackstands and pull off the front tires. Then realigned at the new ride hieght as mentioned once back on the ground.

Do you have to worry about realigning the rear as well with coilovers? I was under the impression that you couldn't align the rear of f-bodys, I may be mistaking. I plan to only run coilovers on the rear, so that's why I'm curious.
