i went out tonight, had to race all motor cuz i have no traction with juice. Anyway, i destroyed a brand new GT from a 40 roll to 100 all motor, and i juiced a vr4 from 70-120 and kicked his ass too, but i loose everything from a stop and below 50mph rolls with my tires!! Are u guys with the happy juice having the same problems, it's like i can't use it racing at all, unless i'm using full slicks and i get a street twin. THanks.......
RacinLT1 01-26-2003, 12:46 PM A) it's been way too cold to spray it,stuff gets brttle in this season.
B)1.51 60' on stock torque arm,and stock rear shocks springs :D
Also, unless you have a progressive, like my maximizer, street traction is impossible on anything shy of drag radials, and sometimes they dont hold it down.
I spprayed mine with a 75 shot and the progressive with regular radials, and just smoked through first and into second.
Unfortunately,it takes KILLER tires and a good drivetrains to make it work.
thanks racin, thats what i figured. And yeah, ppl have told me not to spray when it's like 20 degrees out, but i already went thru 4 bottles juicing 100 shots, lol. I guess i should lay off the juice for a bit, wait till it gets alittle warmer. I do have et streets, but when i use them, i can hit it hard but then 50% of the time the clutch lets go and a spin the clutch up. I'll order a street twin, and use full race slicks on the street then, I'm tired of losing..........
funina91ss 01-26-2003, 01:03 PM I never spray in 1st on street tires and when I hit 2nd I floor it only with a 50 shot on street tires...thinking of moving up to 75 for the street
justahoe 01-26-2003, 03:43 PM I use a set of BFG dr's. They hook up pretty good for me. And shooting the juice out of the hole. :D
Joe Brodman 01-26-2003, 06:49 PM It's winter. My car sleeps in the garage. :)
JSK333 01-26-2003, 10:07 PM With 100 shot, traction breaks briefly when it hits in 2nd gear (sometimes none at all if the tires are pretty hot) and no traction loss in 3rd. But when I tried the 150 shot a few times I had no traction at all in 2nd... just spun all the way into and through part of 3rd.
This is all on the street.
Relevant specs: stock engine, Street Twin, Nitto DRs, billet LCAs w/ lowering brackets on lowest setting, poly torque arm bushing.

Mine too. Plus I don't even own any street tires.
94z'sson 01-26-2003, 11:58 PM when we put a stall and a gear in the car it went slower but then we got drop brackets and gained .2 sec in 1/8 mi with just them and the car wont spin out the hole with BFG drs
Drew778/94Z 01-27-2003, 01:13 AM With my Nitto DR's, I'm able to spray at the end of 1st and it holds pretty good.
cool, thinking about getting DR's. THough i will have to get them in 315 size, will this wide of a tire have adverse affects on traction due to weight distribution??? It seems i have worse tracftion with 315's overall.........

Never raced u...
rpm4lalo 01-28-2003, 06:14 PM I don't spray in first since going from stock gearing to 4.11's.
Loadre 01-28-2003, 07:42 PM I spray at about 4500-5000 RPMS in 1st on an A4 with all the mods in sig minus headers w/ a 100 shot on street tires w/ no traction problems. That was before I had my purge working though, so it probably hits a little harder now. Planning on spraying in 2nd with the 150 shot and DRs in a few months :) I'm talking about the track, though, street is a different story.
LT1Thunder 01-29-2003, 07:40 PM Traction:confused: what's that???
I just can't wait to put my Nitto's back on when it get's warm enough, cause in this cold they don't even help!!

rskrause 01-29-2003, 08:33 PM I can't help. On the street I break 'em loose at 85mph in 4th when the N2O hits. Basically, it isn't usable on the street with my combo. If I had the desire to use it on the street and had a relatively mild setup I would get some sort of a progressive controller. My friend Bob Kennedy sells one from "Perfect Power" and I am tempted to try it just for fun.

stik6shift98 01-30-2003, 10:23 AM i hook like A$$
Sax1031 01-30-2003, 11:16 AM I have never even thought of spraying the gas on street tires in any gear below 3rd. At the track Et Streets with a pro stock burn out would still spin through second gear on the gas. Really helped when we got ET DRAGS.
