17*9.5

Can I fit 295s on the rear of a 17 by 9.5? Whats the biggest I can go?

They would most likely mount up fine but they would probably look really wierd. I would just by 17*11's and then get 315/35/17's to put on them and they'll fit fine.

There are 285/40/17 tires available, but just as expensive as 315/35/17 from a different brand...... according to some magazines both fit the 9.5" rim..... I'm going to replace my 275/40 soon and don't know what to get.... most likely 315s by Sumitoyo , they're only 169 bucks...... when it comes to the "grip" question : get drag tires..... but spend more than 169....... :-)

i fit 315s on stok ss rims......so yes that will fit

it will look a little weird but it didnt bother me

get the 285's thats what I am doing, but I also put on a 1" spacer to push the wheels out a little bit, Looks great and you dont have to worry about the 315's rubbing on hard turns like my 315's do.
