draglites fronts wheels

I have a new set of welds 15x5 with 3.5 bs they hit top and bottom on the forts the pads ride on. I serch the spacer 5/16 for the fronts do you grind these forts to? the capier is pretty close also. I have stock studs and summit 12mm 1.5 lugs nuts can you still use them ? This is on a 94 camaro.

Not exaxtly sure what a "fort" is... but it sounds like the inside knuckle of the wheel, where it rolls over to the center disc, is rubbing on the big horizontal bar on the steering knuckle where the brake pads are supported. The center disc also hit on the springs that hold the pads in the calipers. The 5/16" spacer solves that problem, ar least it did for me, and several other Weld wheel users. You should not have to grind the support bars, or the caliper.

The stock studs will be too short to pass NHRA tech. The threads of the studs have to extend at least 12mm (1/2") into the hex head portion of the lug nut. NHRA will not give you any credit for the thread engagement in the shank portion of the nut. You will need at least a 2.75" stud. Makes it a bit of a problem when you put your street wheels back on, since the studs will stick out so far.
