I like the sounds of most of that stuff in the list, but I am a little upset to see Electron BLue go away after... but maybe 19U Lemans Dark Blue Metallic will be even nicer...

Z16! Z16! Z16! Z16!

512? Can you extrapolate more? I've gone back through and re-read some of your posts Guess Who, and I would like to believe your 512hp number but I'm not sure how credible you are. Engine info? Displacement, generation of engine, etc?

BTW: Z16 was the RPO code for the 96 GRAND SPORT...

Click this LINK and read what mpfarout has to say.His story is correct. He had the words whispered to him about this engine.........They might be going after the Ford GT IMHO..

On a side note,I know I havent posted on this site many times but I HAVE been coming here for a while,A long while.

450 would be nice

512 WOULD ROCK.

512 would renew the faith in a LOT of people. It would be the first step of many to come. Something has to get it started and what better car than the vette.

I cant see GM jumpping from 405 HP to 512 HP. To me and you, the HP heads, thats awesome, but they're going to have to follow this act in a year with the C6 and the gen IV, and I cant imagine GM setting such a high standard for them to follow right off the bat. If GM wanted to go after the GT they'd build the Cien, I just cant see them going after it with the mass-production Vette.

This is "supposed" to be part of the very limited production edition thats coming.

Darth - I also read on LS1.com that Magnetic red would be avial. on the Z06 as well , some of those guys were about dying over it

512 clean emmisions hp would be a cake walk for GM to get out of an LS6 . It would be quite an expensive vette , but easily doable none the less . The Grand sport came out of the old GM days and it was a pretty sweet car for its time ....still is , with the new WAY less restricted GM , I guess I would believe about anything with a last model year special edition Vette .

Thumbs up

450 or 512, it doesn't really matter to me, just as long as it is ahead of its competition in performance and price.

Theres not a car I love more than a Corvette.

I honestly believe GM needs to Increase Displacement on the LS6 and LS1. Sooner or later they will leave us nothing to mod if they don't.

Maybe they will slightly detune a version of the C5-R motor and use it for the '04 Collector's Edition.

That would roast some Vipers and GT40s
Wishful thinking!

Ya, I've seen some places saying Megnetic Red will be available on Z06 for 2004, but it doesn't list it here...

I starting to think that it will not be available on Z06... just the 5 mentioned above, because this is straight from GM, and the new blue and silver would replace the old blue and silver for 04.

Personally, I think all the colors should be available on all the models...
