18x10.5 Z06 wheels

I currently have 18x9.5 Z06 wheels on 275/35 tire on the back and I want to switch them out for 18x10.5 Z06 wheel on 295/35. Wheels are off a Vette. My question is will I be able to notice a difference in width or do I need to jump in tire size to a 335/30? Also, do I need to modify anything in the rear to make them fit. Thanks.

A 295 will be 3/4" wider than a 275, + or - depending on the specific tires.

A 335 will be 2.3" wider, but its going to be a problem keeping it under the fender. 315's barely fit. 335's are difficult. A 335/30-18 requires at least an 11.5" wide wheel. A 10.5" wheel is too narrow.

Thanks, That's what I figured, a 10.5 is to narrow for a 335. I want the BFG KDW2 tires. That's what I have now and like them a lot. They are not available in 315 that I am aware of. I just want a wider tire in the rear for a little stagered look. looks like I'll go with a 10.5 wheel and 295's.

Where did you find 18 x 11.5" wheels? If that's actually the size, what it the offset?
