Austin Meet? Any Interest?

Any of you from Austin or close by interested in a meet? Maybe Sonic like the SA guys or the "car shows" in round rock or oak hill on sat nights?

I'm in Austin..but ya probably wouldn't want me there. I doubt I'd fit it w/ y'all considering I'm a girl with a cobra :o

I wish I could meet up with some of you guys from Austin, but I work a strange night schedule, and chances are, I wouldn't be able to arrange a good time. Just let me know if you decide to meet, and I'll see. There is an f-body organization here in Austin, but their website has not updated since last April or August. I guess they don't do much. :D

The site is http://www.austin-f-body.org like he said it's a bit out of date, but everyone is on the e-mail list. Just sign up and you'll get the goods. From what I read they meet at the Rudy's on 183 Thurs. nights.

Yep, Rudy's on Thursdays @ ~7:30 is about the only scheduled f-body meet. There are occasional cruises/dyno days/race days, but they are all just done on the email list, not on the website.

Where is everybody meeting for SLPDAY drive? Is the Austing f-body org having a meet. The SA people are coming through Austin and would like to know if we are going to meet up. I vote for the new Academy parking lot in Round Rock because I live right by it. It's the McNeil exit on the feeder road.

Are there any regular meets on weekends?

Anyone know if this week is Rudy's or Hooter's? I live close to Rudy's so I'll drop in tomorrow night and see. Saturdays a bunch of people go to the Albertsons at the Y in Oak Hill, and to the Gatti Land shopping center at I-35 and Hwy 79 in Round Rock (it's on the Northwest corner behind Taco Bell).

Take 183 North from I-35.

Exit Duval and take the turn around.

Rudy's is on the access road, ~ 1/2 mile from Duval Rd on the southbound side of 183.

People start showing up around 7:30...

I showed up late..about 9, it was cold as hell outside and everyone was gone. I did get some good BBQ for dinner! I'll try to be there @ 7:30 next week.
