Well, I got my most recent Road and Track and noticed an article about the Holden (GM's Australian division) Monaro CV8 being a very real possibility for Pontiacs revival of the GTO in 2004. Check it out along with other saliva inducing information at www.holden.com (http://www.holden.com) (check out the HSV vehicles as well - seems similar to the SLP options we have here). Could this be a possible Firebird / Camaro platform replacement in the future, or will this remain a separate Pontiac vehicle? Opinions welcome . . .

Oops, you guys are really on top of things on this board. I actually thought I had something substantial until I read a few other posts about 15 minutes after posting. Sorry, it's just that any news of a fifth generation car (or any new v8 vehicle for that matter) makes me jumpy :-p. I'll "listen before speaking" next time, and let that be a lesson to all.
