Bel Air and Solsticeckt101 06-18-2002, 03:29 PM Anybody know what the production possibilities are for these two show cars? Z28Wilson 06-18-2002, 04:08 PM I'll take a stab at it: Bel Air--Not a chance, at least not as it was shown (styling went over like a lead balloon) Solstice--much better chance, although I think Lutz will focus on other projects first. I'd also look for some subtle changes to its styling (i.e., front end) ------------------ Mark 94 Z28, Red, A4, 3:23 Lone Mods--LPE CAI, !Lapeer Dragway. (Hey, I'm a college boy I can't afford gobs of bolt-ons!) Best time: 14.658 @ 95.1 with SES light on and Driver off! (First and only time at track) The F-body will NEVER die. guionM 06-19-2002, 09:11 AM Belair was supposedly very cheap & easy to bring out on the market, & it was initially aimed to be produced. Doubtful now. Solstice was a sort of image car for the auto show circuit that according to a Car & Driver story wasn't even supposed to be driveable when displayed. Now it seems the car has taken on a life of it's own, & may see a version produced after GM's other cars make it to market. | ||
