i dont think he has enough hp to need one if u want goto that page and get u a nitro steel one , that should hold more than enough HP for a long time

im not really looking at it for the amount of power it holds. im wanting one for the amount of weight it will lose. ive seen a few that weight about half as much as the stock driveshaft. my cars going on a diet this winter and im trying to lose as much weight as i can.
carbon fiber hood, trunk, driveshaft. also replacing some suspension components to lose weight and tighten the car up. ive already lost quite a bit with just the whole exhaust being replaced

all these companies are custom order driveshafts. is there any companies that make them specifically for the camaro or for certain applications? rather than just build to suit?

as of right now every company that i know of only makes them for the 93-03 camaro's nothing yet for the 2010's hell why not get a custom one beacuase already made carbon fiber drive shaft for a 93-03 is $800 pre made ready to ship so really ur only payin a couple hundred more, but thats what u get when u have something so new it will take bout 2 more yrs before they start making pre made stuff like that , not many people run cabon fiber shaft but it would give u a 3% increase in tq an hp to the ground, cause of the lower rotational mass , for every 1 lb of rotating mass u remove is like removing 100lbs off the car

well, acpt said they could build one butthey havent looked at one yet. they should be getting one in thier shop in a few weeks. wa-don racing didnt sound like hey even knew what day today was. pst was closed. and drive shaft specialist said to send them pictures so they can lok at it. they havent looked at one either. acpt sounds like my guys so far. they said about a 40% weight reduction. price around 1k and a 1 year warranty and withstanding up to 2k ft lb tq. thats not too bad. Pfadt racing has shafts for the vette running 2k.

How much do those 22 inch wheels weigh compared to light weight wheels seems like money better spent elsewhere.

that may be personal preference. it was alot of research to find the perfect light weight wheel in a larger size. the back wheels and tires actually weigh the exact same as the stock rear 20's(with tires). the front weigh just a bit more (3lbs per side). but i gained better handling with the lower profile. i also lost the wieght that was gained from the front (6lbs) tires and wheels, in the exhaust system, while gaining hp.
what i would like to eventually do, is like pete (pedders)did with his camaro. put a set of 19" wheels on, but these would only be used for track use of the car. and the 22" wheels will be my regualr every day use wheels.
