Will 18x10.5" wheel work on the fronts ?

Does anyone know if ill have any issues running 18x10.5 56mm offset wheel on the fronts ? If not what size tire should I run ? Thanks in advance !

That wheel would have close to an 8" backspace.

Now tell us what kind of car its going on. If its a 4th Gen, its going to require about a 1/2" spacer. I'd guess that its going to rub heavilly on the inner fender liner, particularly when the wheels are turned to the side, or you hit a severe bump.

why do you want to run such a big rim in the front?

spacer on the fronts with a 295/35 tire and no rubbing or the lip sticking out . Im gonna
run this because the 18x10.5 wheel im getting has about a 3" dish on it and I want it on all
4 corners :) Ill provide pics of said setup if needed to see as well .

you got the rubber on these wheels yet? this is what i am looking into doing as well.

are those deep dish c5's?

if so whered u get them and are they gunmetal?

i just test fit an 18x10.5 on the front of my T/A today and was not comfortable with where the wheel and sidewall of the tire is in relation to the spindle/ball joint. i then tried it with one of those ghetto ass wheel spacers (thinkin its about 3/16 like said above) and it was better but there's no good way to perfectly center the spacer between the wheel and rotor because its not lug or hub centric. just kinda got sandwiched between the rotor and wheel, which i suppose isnt a huge deal, although seems ghetto to me.

also, i still have stock length wheel studs, and seemed like the lug nuts grabbed a decent amount of the studs thread, but obviously about 3/16" less than it should have. anybody doing it with stock studs and no issues? like i said... seems kinda ghetto and not too safe...

Tell them what you need, and they can make them.

You have to have at least 1/2" of thread engagement in the "hex" portion of the lug nut. Anything less is dangerous.

one other question...

like i said, the wheel and tire were EXTREMELY close to the spindle and the castle nut to the ball joint, although they did clear without rubbing.
my question is: while driving, going over bumps, making turns and whatnot, will the spindle actually move and have a chance of hitting the wheel and/or tire? im thinking since the wheel and all front suspension moves together that NO, it wouldnt rub, although im wondering if certain circumstances would cause this to be an issue.

i also had a 305-35-18 on there (bought 4 rears), which will be swapped with a 275-40-18 so that should help. but still weary and wanna take all steps to ensure i wont have any issues, or if i will, that i swap to the proper 18x9.5" wheels before something stupid happens that could have been avoided:)

If the spindle moves relative to the steering knuckle, the bearings are shot.
