When I was driving my brand new SS M6 home today, a semi truck in front of me blew a tire. I tried my best to slow down and avoid it, but due to traffic, I ended up running over a busted tire carcass at about 20mph. It didn't do any body damage, but I suspect it might have busted a tranny mount or something.
WHenever I leave the car in gear and floor it, or lift the pedal for a high rpm decel, I'll hear/feel a little "clunk" from the driveline. Do all the M6 cars do this, or did I manage to damage my new SS with only 200 miles on the odometer?

I dunno...doesn't sound right. I'd take it into your dealer and have them check it out, or at least get it up on a ramps and look around under there.
Where does the clunk sound like it is coming from on the vehicle? More toward the front or rear or middle? Does it happen at any speed when you get on it or a particular range?

It sounds like it's coming from the rear. I'll try and jack it up tommorrow. It really only happens at low speeds. At highway speed, the driveline feels tight.
So... uh..... Where are the jackpoints? I don't want to cave in the unibody frame rails or bend the front fender fastener tab, like I did on EVERY 4th GEN I ever owned.
