ok so i took my car in a lil while back for a complete rebuild, started out ( way i bought it anyway ) with a 94z with a vortech t-trim with a 7-8psi pulley, heads had a mild port job done on em, cc308 or 306 cam ( cant rember which now, been a while  ) shorty headers, 3" exhaust, mite be forgetting a few small details but those are the main power adders anyway. so i took in to a local shop a lil while back to get a complete overhaul . put mahl pistons in with a 9:5:1 compression, calli comp star rods, block bored to a 355, getting 1.6 RR's, elect water pump, a/c delete, snow perf stage 3 meth kit and gonna be tuned to run 100% meth, also doing long tube headers . so with the lower comp and long tubes and other work getting done i know im gonna lose a few psi of boost, but with all the other additions im hoping i make more power then previously which was about 450whp on stock pistons that had about 100k miles on em. its gonna be dyno tuned when finished but just curious what you guys think ill laydown for power?? this is a auto car with 3k stall btw. fuel system is 42lb inj, aeromotive fuel psi reg, 255lph pump, canton high flow fuel filter.

Same heads, cam, pulley? Tough call. I see a couple of power mods, but the compression is dropping a good bit. If the old motor was really tired I could see it picking up a good amount.

yeah same heads, cam and pulley from when it made 450whp. as for the motor being tired it felt pretty strong but it was only a few weeks after the dyno pull i started getting alot of blowby so im not sure how good a shape it was actually in at that point, plus it was running kinda lean when it made 450hp so not sure how good the previous tune was..... im gonna see what it makes for power with that same pulley for now but if i could see 500whp id be happy with whatever psi its making.

460whp roughly... i made 472 on 12psi with a 355 with mild ported lt4 heads/intake and full boltons.

How small of a pulley can you put on a ttrim? I say more boost.

yeah more boost is most likely in its future but i guess we will see. it should be hitting the dyno for a tune within a week or so here...
