Salad Shooters

I'm going to sandblast my wheels now to remove all the finish. I thought about painting them black but I'm still undecided. I might leave the wheels bare after I blast them. Do you guys think I would need to spray the wheels with a clear coat or would it be ok to leave the wheels like they are? Has anybody painted their salad shooters? Thanks guys.

You will have to clear coat the bare alloy if you don't want corrosion to damage the finish.

I will post pics when i'm done. It may be awhile before this happens on the account of me getting the blasting material and time to do this. I will spray a clear coat over them after I blast them.

I actually like the black.. but i have to ask why ruin a nice set of RARE POLISHED salad shooters when you can find the standard painted finish ones out there everywhere??

Then you woulda had two sets or cash in hand when you sold the set you didn't like??

Ahh OK.... I thought they were the actual Polished version from the factory!

Props to you for:
#1: Spending the time to polish them THEN:
#2: Spending more time to paint them
