ponyackn 01-18-2003, 05:56 PM Looks really good and smooth. Can u tell us how u went about doing it and where you got the paint? Thanks.
whiteheartbeat 01-18-2003, 06:09 PM thanks, where to get it i'm not sure i went to their website i don't see it listed. I got it over in europe when i was there. They do have some transparent spray paint here but the finish isn't as nice like mine,at least not the one summit sells!!! Anyhow its easy to do it just take out the tail light and clean it and spray it. Very simple and looks like blackouts only i left the reverse light clear, its different!!! :)

Pandamonkey 01-18-2003, 06:34 PM The whole idea behind tail lights is so other drivers can see you better, and possibly have a clue as to what your next move may be, if it's a turn or a sudden stop.
You've made it much more difficult for other cars to see you from the rear. Be prepared to be the recipient of a rear ender. :(
Having said that - they look killer man! :D

Ive done this too. Believe it or not, this method is more transparent than the actual cover. Only things that sux is they are like that permanently. Oh well
whiteheartbeat 01-18-2003, 06:48 PM i agree with white30th they are transparent you can see the lights just fine thats one of the reasons i chose this method!!!!
:D red lights just don't match my car anyhow!! :D :D :D
