The guy there told me that my BOSE system in my 1995 camaro handled ohms in tiny amounts like 1/10 unlike a regular system so if I wanted to convert my tape to a cd system that I would need a Stock cd player. Will a 1999 Monsoon system work on a 1995 bose system? Is there some adapter I can use to make aftermarket work?

You can connect an after-market HU to the BOSE system by using a PAC OEM-1 (http://www.go2pac.com/products/products_oem_detail.cfm?ID=1) and it's associated BOSE wiring harness.

Or you can say to heck with the probably worn out Bose system and remove all of it. Then replace it with a new headunit/speakers and new wiring....That will probably be the most satisfactory route, but not the most inexpensive...

I second that. I originally kept my Bose as my HU with all my new stuff. Big mistake.
