Thanks for the help. 2010_5thgen 08-14-2009, 11:30 AM long or short tube? borla, slp, american racing, kooks. im sure companies like hooker and headman will make them eventually but thats who i know makes them now. i think hennessey does also. mastergunner 08-14-2009, 01:42 PM Looking for Long tube but was curious if those will fit to the stock exhaust or an aftermarket exhaust? wacker 08-14-2009, 02:03 PM 2010_5thgen is selling a set of borlas for a good price. 2010_5thgen 08-14-2009, 02:57 PM if you get long tubes, you need to get the h pipe that should come with the kit. thats the only way it will fit. 2010_5thgen 08-14-2009, 02:58 PM 2010_5thgen is selling a set of borlas for a good price. not really selling, just kinda giving up my spot in line with them. they should have come into summit today. 2010_5thgen 09-07-2009, 04:00 PM i just put my borla headers on saturday and it sounds amazing. very loud. yet still deep. perfect combination with the catback. OvCamaroSS 09-07-2009, 10:32 PM i just put my borla headers on saturday and it sounds amazing. very loud. yet still deep. perfect combination with the catback. Do the Borla headers have cats on them like some of the others i've seen? 2010_5thgen 09-08-2009, 08:15 AM no they are an off road header. no cats. it even came with a label saying this product was only to be used off road and that it was not street legal. but i dont have e checks so i didnt have to worry. toegead93 09-10-2009, 05:24 PM JBA and Dynatech also sell headers. fast83z28 09-25-2009, 05:20 PM American Racing Headers makes them as well with or without cats 1 3/4" or 1 7/8" tubes all stainless ......Kooks also makes them with the same specs but Kooks also has a complete system from headers all they way back jay_lt4 09-26-2009, 11:42 PM Looking for Long tube but was curious if those will fit to the stock exhaust or an aftermarket exhaust? KOOKs long tubes bolt to the stock exhaust, no cutting required and come with cats or off-road conection pipes, i have them and they fit great ARH also make a version that bolt to the factory pipes with no cutting POWERFREAK 09-27-2009, 09:34 AM I bought a set of American Racing headers (1-7/8") w/ the hi-flowcats and 3" x-pipe. Not installed yet...next week hopefully. Just by looking at them, I'm very impressed with the quality. The x-pipe will bolt up to the stock exhaust or you can go w/ an aftermarket axle back system. fast83z28 09-27-2009, 12:38 PM I've installed American Racing Headers on C5's C6's and G8's among many others and they have always fit perfectly with zero modifications. Their quality is outstanding as well. | ||
