Any thoughts on using ARH V's SLP. It seems ARH are a little more expensive but are they better quality?

Tough call, I don't think many have them on their cars yet.

ARH makes nice headers, the SLP headers are nice and ceramic coated, can't go wrong with either one.

Thanks, dropped the hammer on ARH today. Went directly through Eric and he gave me dealer price of $1300:cool: Should take a few weeks to get in. Once I get them on I'll post a sound bite with the ARH headers/high flow cats and the magnaflow catback. Should be a combination of a mellow/aggressive tone.

Regardless of brand/coatings, i would definetely make sure that whatever headers i buy are stainless, which most don't coat them afterwards. Mild steel with ceramic coating still has the chance to rust and turn ugly over time. Stick with stainless and you'll be happier.

nope, most, if not all "Quality" headers are, but, most "commonly sold" are mild steel that are either painted or high temp coated, i.e. Hedman, Edelbrock, Hooker, JBA, Pacesetter, and the usual over the counter brands are mild steel. Just check Summit/Jegs, and the majority are mild steel, ecspecially since mild steel compared to stainless is approx. a 30% savings.
