Fuel line pinhole leak / Replacement
Fuel line pinhole leak / Replacement
After noticing a fuel smell under the hood, I pulled back the plastic loom
and found that at least one of the nylon(?) lines under the hood had a pinhole leak.
(Likely a result of wear from the engine installs we did over the last two seasons)
To repair this, do I replace the whole thing back to the hard lines under the car?
and where should I go to obtain the replacement lines?
I'm not really at a point where I want to upgrade the fuel system to oversized or braided lines,
but I would expect that to become a "to-do" item within the next 2 years.

For a 1993 the front fuel line bundle is about 4X as expensive as the 94-97 version. You can get one from a dealer if they still even offer it. The GM manual recommends that you not repair the nylon lines, but that does not mean it can't be done. Safety is the biggest concern, here.
