Car Wash and Zaino

I love zaino and got a bunch for christmas and my car turn out so well that my step dad decided he wanted some too. So i ordered him some. He has a black excusion and wants it to look nice. The question i have is he always goes to the car wash. My understanding is that the high power jets strip the wax of the car. Am i correct that he shouldnt go to the car wash if he uses zaino on his car? So that all the work is work not. Next question, if it is ok to go to the car wash you definitly dont want to get the wash option right? Cuz you dont want to try and layer zaino with that cheap crap right? Any opion is welcome

P.S. my car shines like never before, all my swirl marks are gone after 4 coats of Z5.

ZAINO for life.

Going to the car wash is not a problem, just do not have them apply any "wax", go for the wash only. You do not have to worry about the jet spray, but in the northeast some car washes will pre-spray the sides of dirty cars with a mild acid mixture to remove dirt and salt better, that will take it toll on any product.

An alternative is to just goto the pressure wash stations instead, and just blast it off with pure water....

I understand the convienance of the automatic car wash, but most beat the snot out of your paint job... especially in the winter, when stones, salt, and other think that are just waiting to scratch you finish are spinning around in those brushes and things... even if they are 'soft touch' or whatever, a lot of nasty stuff gets caught up in those things...
