I have a 1999 Camaro Z28 with 88,000 miles about to put in an Ls6 manifold and ported throttle body, I have an SSRA, Slp lid, K&N Filter, also have 3" long tube headers with 3" pipe going to 3" cutout. front 18x9.5" rear 19x10" tires...

my question is what kind of cam would you recommend? I was kinda thinking the MS3 or something similar to that... if cam was to be swapped what else would yall recommend to replace?

Futral Motorsports F13 or F14. The high-lift versions run awesome if you don't plan on doing milled heads .

Definitely change the timing chain, no need to change waterpump unless you are having issues with it. I do recommend changing the oil pump since you have 88k miles.

On any LS1 cam-swap, it is highly suggested that you replace the oil pump with an LS6 or ported LS1 pump and the timing set with an LS2 set or something similar. Also, upgrade the pushrods, springs, retainers, locks, etc.

Also, the H/C/I Vette also had an FMS camshaft (F-15) (not suggested for a daily driver)

I'd get the F-14 HL again. Awesome driveability and insane power/midrange. The car felt like it was on nitrous all the time.

Nope. Just get the fans turned on early when you get the tune.

Nothing wrong with using a used cam. Just inspect it carefully for wear, knicks, or deep scratches.
