2010_5thgen 07-14-2009, 07:38 AM well my new wheels finally came in yesterday. im taking them to get mounted and balanced this afternoon. after that im going to put them on the car and see how it looks not lowered. im sure its going to look a little weird. the tires are a little taller in the front than the stock tires. im still waiting for the pedders suspension for the lowering of the car. so ill take some pictures of them on the car and some off the car. the guy at 360 forged told me he would do a photoshop of the car lowered if i sent him some pictures. so ill post those later. these things look sweet!
JasonD 07-14-2009, 07:42 AM Borla exhaust, no sound clips.

JasonD 07-14-2009, 10:39 AM Nice. :thumb: What are the sizes and offsets again?
2010_5thgen 07-14-2009, 10:55 AM 22x9 front and 22x 11 rear. i dont know the offest. the center caps are not installed on them yet. im waiting until i mount them to putthe finifhing touch on. they are a very light wheel too. im going to weigh one here in a few minuted to see what the total weight with the tires is. im so pumped. its all starting to fall together now. just missing my headers and my pedders!
JasonD 07-14-2009, 11:05 AM You should have a spec sheet telling you what the offsets are. Some might find it helpful for when they order wheel, if you are allowed to reveal the info.
Be sure to weigh them before mounting the tire, too!
2010_5thgen 07-14-2009, 11:11 AM i just weighed them seperately. the front wheels are 32lbs a piece and the rear wheels are also 32lbs a piece. the tires weigh 33 lbs for the front and 35 lbs for the rear. so a total weight of 65 lbs apc for the front and 67 lbs apc for the rear.
2010_5thgen 07-15-2009, 07:02 AM heres a picture of one of the rear wheels mounted with the center cap on http://www.camaroz28.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=241&pictureid=907
2010_5thgen 07-15-2009, 07:03 AM the flash really makes the flat black look grey. but it is alot darker than you see here.
Z28avalanche 07-15-2009, 07:42 AM Man those are sweet, when you get time take some pics of them on the car.
2010_5thgen 07-15-2009, 10:00 AM im picking up my lug nuts from summit tonight and im going to throw them on the car. its going to look horrible until i get it lowered though. the tires are larger than stock and it is going to sit a little higher. i will take pics though. 360 forged told me they would photoshop the car lower if i send them pics of the wheels on the car

thanks for posting them for me.
2010_5thgen 07-24-2009, 06:55 AM i need some advise. will it be ok if i dont take the car to get an aligmnment done until after i get my suspension put on? with the new wheels on of course. i dont know exactly howl ong it will be but i didnt want to pay for a new alignment if im going to have to have another one doen when the suspension comes in. so if i am going to need one ill just take the wheels off. between now ,and lets say, the next 4 weeks before the suspension could get put on, i may only put on 500 miles max. will i be ok to not get it aligned?

Looks pretty good but everyone and there grandma are doing the blackout look.....Im getting tired of it...
Im not trying to bash ur car, just stating I see them all over the place now.
FYI: put some cyber grey stripes on this car....would look even better with the wheel combo....
JasonD 07-24-2009, 02:26 PM Getting old or not, it still looks damn good. Nice job!

no thanks on the cyber stripes. if i did anything else i would have done red pin stripe around the wheels and red racing stripes.
its not getting old. if i had a different color car(white) i would have painted the wheels to match it( white) but the cars black and i havent had a car that i have wanted to do something like this to , in 4 years. not i have the car and im doing what ive been dreaming of for the last 4 years. i think it looks pretty damn good. i like the blacked out look, but only if its done right. these wheels are matte black and the lip is gloss. most cars i see ruined the black on black look because they do it cheap and nasty. this is doing it right.
2010_5thgen 07-24-2009, 05:35 PM just talked to pedders too. my Xa kit is going out on monday!!! cant wait to get it put on. ill report on it when its installed and i take some corners.
Outrun 07-24-2009, 06:21 PM Lookin' sharp! :thumb:
2010_5thgen 08-06-2009, 06:23 AM got my Pedders Xa kit installed. Backstreet did an amazing job. ill post some pics up here later. i didnt get any install pics like pete had wanted but ill take some of the cars stance and a feww from underneath the car.right now the shocks are set at 13 in the fornt and 10 in the rear and it rides like stock but lower. i need to turn it up a notch and stiffen it up and take some turns in it! we did have a little bit of a problem with the larger wheels. the TPS were rubbing on the E brake cable. just a minor flaw. but we zip tied the line out of the way. and there is a little chatter from the rear springs hitting when compressed. but backstreet has a way to take care of that. other than that, this car looks bad ass now! thanks pete and the guys at backstreet!
shock6906 08-09-2009, 11:44 AM Black wheels + black lip + black car is just uninspiring to me.
That car would look a hell of a lot better if the whole wheel was chrome (or polished) or at least the lips. The design of the wheel looks great, it's just the color that ruins it for me.
2010_5thgen 08-10-2009, 07:06 AM see the chrome is just uninspiring to me.
speeding2fast2c 08-11-2009, 06:24 AM I'm not really a fan of black wheels, but I do think that they look good on your Camaro. My problem with these wheels is not the color its the style. I don't like how you can see through the wheel that much, especially if you have not put bigger brakes on the car. It does look like the toy DUB Camaros, but I think the look looks better on the toys then the real thing.

With the way the lighting looks in this pictures, it reminds me of one of those photos that your dad, uncle, or grandpa would show you of their car they had back in the day!

the reason i went with a wheel like this is because it was the lightest wheels they made. knowing i was going bigger i wanted to make sure i gotthe lightest wheel i could find. i didnt want to lose too much, if any, performance. a big brake kit is in the works. either a big brake upgrade or procharger. i think ill do a pole and see what people think. i want to keep the matte black look of the calipers though. it just goes with the theme of the car. if i do an upgrade ill keep the rears the same and just do a 6 piston up front and larger rotors all the way around. but it had to match the flat black ones in the rear.
if your coming to the big camaro show at summit racing in ohio ill be there. come se the wheels for yourself. the pictures dont do the car justice. you get more of a feel for something seeing it in person and not in pictures.
Mission Man 08-18-2009, 09:38 PM Who cares what others think about your look! If you are happy with it, be happy and move on!:)
2010_5thgen 08-19-2009, 07:01 AM heres a pic from the back with the pedders xa kit installed. photo album was too full to add pictures of the front. but ill get around to it. i gotta take better pictures of the entire car. maybe this weekend http://www.camaroz28.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=245&pictureid=1011
z95lt1 08-20-2009, 11:18 AM what size/brand of tires are you running?
i didnt read much of the thread, and your car looks great.
2010_5thgen 08-20-2009, 12:06 PM 295/30/22 rear and 265/35/22 front Vredestein Sessentra
Hellbent 08-23-2009, 07:07 PM Only thing i don't like is the small brakes, which you said are going bigger anyway. Car looks real good.
2010_5thgen 08-24-2009, 07:53 AM yeah. i need to do some larger slotted rotors at least . i would love to do a z06 upgrade(if possibible)
SROACH 08-28-2009, 05:24 PM Too black for me. I like chrome wheels myself, but to each is own.
2010_5thgen 08-29-2009, 09:41 AM ive had chrome and it has always been a pain in the ass to keep clean. it was too shiney for what i was going for with this car.
Eric@Victory Racing 09-01-2009, 11:43 PM have any photographer friends ? I need a new wallpaper ;)
2010_5thgen 09-02-2009, 06:56 AM yeah i actually do. im working on getting a few professional photos taken. some to send to 360 forged and some for myself. ill post them here as soon as i get them. i figure fall will be the best time.
90 Z28SS 09-03-2009, 03:14 PM Looks pretty good but everyone and there grandma are doing the blackout look....

bluz28 09-12-2009, 12:16 AM Your car looks great blacked out!
JasonD 09-13-2009, 03:58 PM I saw this car in person over the weekend at the NEOCC show. Like many of the 2010s (or so it seems) it looks MUCH better in person. Very sharp car indeed!
2010_5thgen 09-14-2009, 07:15 AM thanks jason. its hard to get a decent picture of this car from a regualr camera. much better in person.
91rs355 09-26-2009, 11:40 AM I think your car looks bada**, that's just my opinion. Good job
