"certain" dealership a joke
"certain" dealership a joke
So i was the originally posted the FEB 28TH ORDER thread and had some decent feedback. I also called some other dealerships and they had mentioned that I was getting the runaround. Here is my timeline:
FEB 28TH: ORDERED CAR and was told delivery date of around May 15th.
APRIL 10TH: Called because I havent heard from the dealership and they said July.
JUNE 8TH: Was told car was being built the week of 15th - 19th.
JUNE 18TH: Was told car was in EVENT CODE 2000 and should flip to 2500 that week.
JUNE 25TH: Was told car was in EVENT CODE 3000.
JULY 9TH: Was told car build date was pushed back 3 weeks with another 4 weeks after that for delivery. Looking at beginning Sept.
Not only am I being told the B.S., but I AM THE ONE THAT ALWAYS CALLS for an update. Found a 2SSRS at another dealership that is in transit and not sold and put a deposit on that one. So whatever comes in first. Either way, the original dealership will hear it from me.

CGM2010- what state are you located in?
I got tired of waiting on the CGM that I ordered and bought one from John Trotto at Buff Whelan in Michigan. The car I orginally ordered should be here in Fla in 3 weeks if your interested, or I'd reccomend calling John - he did me right..

Well I will be the person to stick up for this dealership. I have never had any problems with them at all. When I ordered my Camaro on June 12th I was told 4 to 6 months. Maybe you have been told something different but I also have checked around and was told the same timeline. Also other dealers in the area wont even take an order and if they do they want to make it up. Sometimes we want things to happen faster than what we have been told. ANd I have no problem calling them or driving by there. But anyhow just my 2 cents hope you get your car soon
