convertible in the back ground and some artwork on the walls.
graham 06-21-2009, 10:49 PM I think we can all agree a solid game plan about what a Z28 "would be" is on paper... in drawings.. maybe even technical specification sheets or even down to production order planning. The shifter seems to be in park position on that project tho..
99SilverSS 06-22-2009, 01:11 AM Great picture of Sangyup Lee and Tom Peters from Design Staff.
That's defiantly the Z28. Wonder if we'll ever see it..... :(
2010_5thgen 06-22-2009, 08:41 AM oh no. not again!
30thZ286speed 06-22-2009, 08:55 AM I believe that is the same thing that is in the new Transformers movie. Looks like the same hood and front nose. So we will get a good look at what the Z28 would have looked like when the movie comes out later this week.
FenwickHockey65 06-22-2009, 09:17 AM It's actually very similar to the Z28 shown in a Motortrend article a few months back.
CLEAN 06-22-2009, 09:27 AM Looks like they've addressed the problem of the car being too big
jcamere94z28 06-22-2009, 09:40 AM I want that diecast
HuJass 06-22-2009, 10:03 AM The grilles are different, and is that a Z28 badge where the SS or RS badge normally is? Looks like it.
jg95z28 06-22-2009, 12:34 PM I'm not sure whether I like the stripes continuing over the roof (ala Mustang) or not. :p
Come on GM... just build the damn thing already! :D
jg95z28 06-22-2009, 12:47 PM I want that diecastDiecast? I believe its a scaled down clay. :D
RobDarden 06-22-2009, 07:02 PM I wish they would produce it. I would trade in the SS on one.
Three 06-22-2009, 07:45 PM WAS not IS.......................wait that was a band.............wasn't it

Wouldn't surprise me if whoever drew it for Motor Trend had actually seen the model.

Big Als Z 06-23-2009, 04:38 PM The Z28 shown in MT was said to be drawn from what insiders described the Z28 to look like, or that the artist actually saw the car.
Not sure, will check with that soon.
Im not 100% sold on how Chevy set up this Z28. Id really take a 450hp upgraded SS vs a big supercharged monster like this.

Huh? How did they set it up? Ive heard just about everyone suggest it would be a similar set up to the CTS-V motor wise but nothing definitive.
Also I thought the MT rendering came out after the spyshots of Bumblebee so I just assumed they did a rendering from they spyshots and changed the color.
Big Als Z 06-23-2009, 10:34 PM Right, I dont want as Charlie puts it, a Camaro "GT500."
I want a Camaro "Grand Sport."

Ill ask another way
no winkie??
kamikazi007 06-24-2009, 06:59 AM All the pictures of what people feel to be the "z28" just all support the upgrades to bumblebee in the new Transformers movie. In the transformers page on wikipedia, in an interview they said "Bumblebee as becoming stronger after having his severed legs reattached in the first film: the new intakes and spoilers "
