Tweeter drilled into the top of my 2000 SS fuel tank. Now I am screwed as my mechanic can not find ANY source to get a new tank . . .any suggestions where one could be purchased?

I have one in my 1995, see if that will work in your 2000... I'm pulling the rear soon anyway (perfect time to drop the tank too)

It's a different tank.

Yerp... Why don't you go get a fuel cell instead lol.

Isn't the fuel tank in the LS1 4th Gens made of plastic? I'd assume it could be fixed.

As of right now - my mechanic plans to fix it - how I am not certain - but it is a ton of work just to get at it! Yes, it IS plastic . . .and out of production. No one has it.

I DO like the fuel cell suggestion tho!

On my 97Z28 the previous owner mounted an amp and drilled 2 holes in the top of my gas tank I fixed it with that epoxy puddy.
They make the same thing for plastic.
I would only do a repair on the top of the tank I would not trust anything on the bottom.

Autozone shows the tank being available.

Looks good what are you using to seal the hole with?

I am not certain . . .it's being repaired by Integrity Auto on the Black Horse Pike in Williamstown, N.J. Family owned and operated by a couple of brothers - if it doesn't work . . .like Arnold said . . ."I'll be backkkk"
