awesome job on the screen. Mine was a little easier though...Pioneer fold out http://web.camaross.com/bb/biggrin.gif That's a great job on the project though. I like seeing stuff like that to give me ideas when I'm working on other cars.

Thanks guys! yeah, it took a long time, it better look good. :P anyway, i just don't like the look of the slide-out ones, and i'd bought my head unit not too long ago, and like it. so this was my favorite option. anyone have ideas on what i should run on this screen? i'm thinking of a Blaupunkt dvd/cd player that plays mp3's (169$, i'm a poor college student).... or where to hide whatever i get?

TEXTURE: the whole thing is properly textured, that part was pretty easy. It's spray paint, in an aerosol can, texture paint its called. made for bumpers and other stuff. just run a search on that kind of stuff on google.
HOW: wow... this could get long, so i'll direct you to my gave-up-on-it web page, http://www.rose-hulman.edu/~woodsjr/index.html
just look at the pictures, the text is long winded. then i used fiberglass and bondo!

Would you consider making me one of these? I love that screen, it is exactly what I am looking for. How much to do me one just like it?

I like that better that those pullout screens that block the AC controls or vents. It's also cool that you got Johnny Knoxville to take a picture in the reflection of your sail panel!!! http://web.camaross.com/bb/biggrin.gif
