Expected time after 3000 event code?

Hello all,

As of 5/27 my car was at-
3000 Order Accepted by Production Control Order input into the production system.

The dealer is telling me that I shouldn't be waiting much longer, from what I have read I think 8 weeks would be optimistic. You guys that have already been through this part of the process- what do you think??

My Hummer lease has expired and I'm trying to decide if I need to buy a short term ride..

Thanks,
Rick

I got to 3000 on May 1. I got a call with the VIN on June 1 (4B00).

Dealer expects delivery by the 3rd week of June.

I think your estimate is probably about right.

Yeah, I'm going on week 8 since 3000. A lot of the people I've seen who were built within a day or two of me have taken delivery already. Not sure where mine is, but here's to hoping it comes next week sometime. Your estimate is probably close, give or take a week.

I think you're right that I got lucky. I placed my order on April 11th and it was accepted April 13th.

It got to 3000 on May 1 but it took until May 19th to get to 3300, May 21st was 3400 then June 1 4B00.

Now I am waiting out the delivery process but the dealer was confident that I'll be watching fireworks through the windshield of my new Camaro.
