v6 MOTOR SWAP

hi all,
I have a 94 v6 camaro yadda yadda read my signature. But i was doing alot of thinking lately and i decided i dont have the money to invest on a new car for instance a z28. I was just curious if any of you guys know what kind of investment and work it takes to do a motor swap for the V6. I already have replaced the rear and everything with a Z28 rear. Now its time to move onto bigger things. If you know anything or have any tips please reply. Thanks alot everyone

your probably going to v-8 right if so
you need to change motor(obviously)tranny,motor mounts,front springs sending unit for carbed engine,y-pipe and if it doesn't have one a wonder bar

when i did it i had a 2.8 fi swapped for 305 carbed

took all the wires stuffed into the corner by blower motor
put in hei distributor run ignition power tach wire one wire for oil pressure one wire for temp one more for alternator put in an inline electric pump under where the filter goes and used power wire for pump cut off plug under rear hump leaving rest so gas gauge still worked don't forget to swap speedo gear from old tranny so you have correct speed reading

I'm guessing that you're going for either an LT1 or LS1. LT1 all in all would probably be about 2,000-2,500 for the motor and tranny (i could be wrong maybe things have gone down since i last checked) and you'll need motor mounts the Z front end suspension and brakes, PCM for the engine, fuel pump and stuff like that. but from what i've heard if you know a decent amount about working on cars then it's not really all that hard.
