My dealer called me yesterday. He said that my order got selected for production the week of 15 june, and I should see it 4-6 weeks after that.

Not to **** on anyones wheaties but I'd say more like 12 weeks before it arrives at your dealer. If sooner, all the better just don't expect seeing it 8 weeks after production starts.

Maybe I pissed on my own wheaties. My dealer just called me. My odered was pulled today. No production date yet though. He also said The car should be at the dealer in 6 weeks. I said,"you think?" He said yes. I hung up and said to me self,"I ain't a holdin me breath"

I've been hearing 6-8 weeks from several dealers, so that may be average once things line out.

We can hope. The other head scratcher is how some people got their car more then a month earlier then a previous order? My experience has alway's been first in first served. Unless there was a parts issue.

A lot goes into this. I ordered outside of a dealers initial allotment. I knew this but couldn't beat the price, so it was worth the wait for me. That's one scenario. Another one...and I don't know if this is true, but it's what I've heard...is that, in order to spread the cars evenly over the market, dealer A (with 12 allocations) would get 4 cars to dealer B's (with 3 allocations) 1. This MAY be what's happening....then there are things like production line limitations, constraints, etc....not to mention the dealer "display" cars and various QC holds and what not. Like I said, I imagine things will start to normalize a little fairly shortly.

I hope so.....I'm getting impatient.

Don't forget all GM plants close for about two weeks in June so that will delay these cars also. I have not heard that the Camaro plant was exempt from the normal break

Ok so I am not very smart and My dealer has not been much help. I have an workbench order with an order number on it. At the top it says Projected Production Week of June 8-13. Could anyone here with experience tell me if that means my order was actually pulled or is this just a pre-order still. I have asked my dealer several times about the event code but he has still not answered my question. Unfortunately at this point we communicate through e-mails due to my job and the fact the dealership is 500 miles away.

One of the Camaros ordered when mine was arrived last week. Dealer said there are 4 ready to be delievered and 1 of them is mine. Told me that it's being railed to South Carolina and trucked from there to Greensboro, North Carolina. The one that arrived last week was still on code 3800. What do you guys mean when you say the order was pulled?
