I just contacted two local dealerships in my area to see what they were planning for the reveal and both said that GM has delayed the May 6 reveal date to May 28th due to lack of demo cars. Has anyone else heard this?

Lack of demos?! How many dealerships are there in North America? How many cars have they built?? I'm sure there should be enough (esp. considering the FLEET of CTF cars they built) to provide at least ONE Camaro to every dealership by now?!?!

I haven't heard this news. Our event is still set for the 6th and our showroom Camaro actually showed up a week ago. View Some Teaser Photos Here (http://www.mymaxieprice.com/blog/?p=132). It has been sitting in the showroom with the top on for a week.

With the number of GM dealers that have been cut over the past few months, I don't see why there would still be dealers without their Camaros in yet.

Any dealers out there still waiting on yours?

I have ridden by a local chevy dealer about 4 times in the past week (going to the beach) and haven't seen a camaro yet.
It's puzzling to me as to why its taken SO long for the cars to get to the dealerships. Production started well over a month ago...

3 dealerships in my immediate area; NONE of them have received a demo car or expect to get one within the next 2 weeks. 2 other dealerships about an hour away from me also have no word on demo cars. I think GM forgot about Tennessee.

The planned event for yesterday (Saturday, May 2) at Radely Chevrolet in Fredericksburg, VA went as advertised. We had rain threatening all day, but about 16 of us took a chance and brought our cars out to help give the car a good send up. The car on display was a silver 2LT RS with automatic. I FINALLY got to sit in one of these cars!

I took a bunch of pictures and I'll post them in a separate thread later today.

I just picked mine up and I bought it on the 24th of april but they told me GM official release date is May 6th. However they also told me the California dealers mostly have V6 models. I'm in Elk Grove Ca.
