Why no red interior?Z284ever 04-28-2009, 10:54 AM Why orange and not red? speeding2fast2c 04-28-2009, 11:04 AM as long as you don't mean red like the third gen Camaros! I could see the seem as the Infrano Orange, but take all of whats in orange and make it red! That would be great! 01T-Tops 05-31-2009, 01:53 AM They show so much less dirt than gray interiors, and yet, almost all cars these days have gray interiors...dumb Bad AZz Z28 06-24-2009, 04:47 PM Probably because red interiors were a '70s/80's style disaster A friend at work recently picked up an orange SS with orange accented interior and it looks great. I suppose a red car with red accents would also look good, but only on a red car and only bc its accented red, not an entire red interior. Big Als Z 06-25-2009, 01:31 AM GTO had really nice dark read leather seating, and red guages. I always loved the look. I looked at some of the interior packages for the Mustang, and they have a really nice light brown leather seating surface. I like the options on the 3 series as well. Red, orange, black and silver. The redis more like a maroon. Kris93/95Z28 06-27-2009, 12:41 PM GTO had really nice dark read leather seating, and red guages. I always loved the look. Here are pictures from my car. It is Silver with Red interior. http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/1/2848/121/7117560018_large.jpg http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/1/2848/121/7117560020_large.jpg Probably because red interiors were a '70s/80's style disaster I like the way it looks... neil350 06-27-2009, 07:15 PM If they are balanced out with black they can look killer, all red starts looking like a house of ill repute. MetalDragon 06-28-2009, 01:40 PM Agreed....my 78 had all red in it. 01T-Tops 07-25-2009, 01:25 AM Quote: Probably because red interiors were a '70s/80's style disaster Whatever... Though I wouldn't entirely mind red carpet with black seats...or maybe seats kinda like those but with more black or charcoal...red carpet is the best...grey carpet is the absolute worst...and that's all there is on any car today... JeremyNYR 07-27-2009, 03:37 PM I think the 70s/80s reference was because the car's interior was absolutely BATHED in red! Carpet, seats, door panels, center console, headliner... sometimes even the dash! cjmatt 07-30-2009, 10:07 AM this is the one reason ill be going mustang vs camaro I want a blacked out car with red/black interior sharpe 08-01-2009, 12:51 AM The reason I didn't order a '10 is because I couldn't get a white/red/red striped one. I would have settled with white leater too. Didn't have either option. So, no new Camaro for me, not that it's that big of a deal. Not real impressed with them at all other than the exterior look. If it would have weighed a lot less, I would have got one no matter what color. I'll drive my white/white leather heads/cam Z28 M6 until I can find a good deal on an LS3 C6. 99SilverSS 08-06-2009, 01:23 AM I too would rather they offered Red leather. I can see why they offered the inferno orange accent interior as it looks great with IOM, Black, CGM, and I bet white. But it would have been nice to have the red leather option. TheV6Bird 08-06-2009, 09:46 PM I'm a fan of colored interiors myself. http://img395.imageshack.us/img395/7272/p3160041yj2.jpg My Fusion with red interior inserts. monstertodd 08-14-2009, 02:12 AM My dream 2010 Camaro is black exterior with red stripes, and a red interior with black accents. I curse GM for not offering this option! Gripenfelter 08-14-2009, 02:40 PM Red fades to pink over the years. Look at some higher mileage cars with red interiors. A friend of mine has a black GTO with a red interior and it's faded to pink sitting in the sun all summer. Looks horrid. 2010_5thgen 08-14-2009, 02:55 PM thats why people get their windows tinted. | ||
