lovemyblackz28 04-27-2009, 02:59 PM I was thinking of upgrading my stock radio. I really like the new camaros radio with the USB. Is there some sort of similar system out there where I could just pop in a flash drive and the title and info of the song will display on the screen? Im tired of using an FM modulator with my mp3 player.

There are many aftermarket head units available with USB input.
derrickgott007 05-01-2009, 05:35 PM My used camaro came with an after market cd player in it that has both USB and an SD card reader. Thank god because the CD wont take disks!
I just burn all my music onto a 4gb usb drive ($9 at walmart) and never have to take it out! Music for days! (Gets a little hard to skip from song 1 to song 1324 so I just let it shuffle)
97FormulaWS-6 05-01-2009, 05:40 PM Yea, there's lots of aftermarket radios with USB capabilities. I've got a Alpine CDA-9886 in my DD with the USB; f-ing great.

Do you have a pic of your system in your car? Was just wondering how it looks. Also where do you pop in the flash drive? I dont see a slot for it.
ZRAPTOR 05-04-2009, 01:17 PM Don't have one on this comp. Will try to get one up by tomorrow for ya man.The usb has a cable that comes with the unit.It pluges in the back and you can put it where ever you want it.Mine is tucked under the passenger side seat for right now.Took the harddrive out.It can also be hooked to an Ipod if you want and that cable comes with it too.

lovemyblackz28 05-06-2009, 12:21 PM Wow that looks great. It almost looks like it comes with the car:) Was it hard to install? Is there a jack for an aux? Do you have the bluetooth adapter for it? Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make sure before the purchase.
Thanx again for the pics!
ZRAPTOR 05-06-2009, 07:00 PM No problem man. The install is very simple and easy. The aux input you have to get an adapter for it.You will have too choose if you want the aux input or the changer though. The aux input plugs in where the changer would be hooked to.I dont have the bluetooth with mine because of the cost,at 180.00 i dont think it is worth it to me.
Here is a link for all the accessories for the unit and the prices.

When you pop in a USB drive, im assuming the song info shows up on the display? Is it easy to navigate through songs on the USB drive?
ZRAPTOR 05-07-2009, 05:15 PM Yep,you can seperate them into folders an navigate from folder to folder. It will show the folder name and the artist and song name.Works just like if you had a disc in it.Very simle and easy to use.
